A new mobile will be added to the Samsung catalog at the beginning of 2018: the Samsung Galaxy A8 (mod. 2018). This version completes and updates the range that follows the Galaxy S; that is, we would be facing a mid / high-end model. Its chassis will be metallic, very resistant and with an Infinity Display screen (without frames) of 5,6 inches with Full HD + resolution.
The new Samsung Galaxy A8 comes equipped with an 8-core processor (2 at 2,2 GHz frequency and 6 of them at 1,6 GHz frequency). Likewise, it will be accompanied by a 4 GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB file storage space; both versions accept microSD memory cards. But, perhaps, the most interesting is the photographic part. Especially the one that refers to its front camera.
And is that the new Samsung Galaxy A8 it will have a double sensor on the front with which to make you selfies to another level. Exactly, is what you were thinking: you can practice the popular effect bokeh and get brighter effects. The sensors are 16 and 8 megapixels. Meanwhile, the rear camera reaches up to 16 megapixels of resolution but with a single sensor.
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the Samsung Galaxy A8 version 2018 will be resistant to dust and water. In the latter case, you can submerge it under water to a maximum of 1,5 meters for 30 minutes. As for the version of Android that we will see installed inside, it will not be Android Oreo. Samsung will not launch the terminal with the latest version of the platform and remains on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The autonomy of the Samsung Galaxy A8 will be borne by a 3.000 milliamp capacity battery that supports fast charging. From the Korean they do not forget elements such as a fingerprint reader on the back; NFC connection to make payments with Samsung Pay; Cat.9 LTE connection to surf the internet at high speed as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and ac WiFi.
El Samsung Galaxy A8 will be available in Spain from next January 2018. Of course, for the moment the price has not been confirmed by the brand. In other markets, a Samsung Galaxy A8 + model with a larger screen size (6 inches) will also appear; with up to 6GB of RAM and a 3.500-milliamp battery capacity.
