The Korean company presented on February 11, the new S range for 2020, a range baptized as Galaxy S20, S20 Pro and S20 Ultra, releasing a new nomenclature, a nomenclature that will probably also reach the Note range that will go from Note 10 to Note 20, a Range Note that you have just received a new member with the last name Lite.
The word Lite has always been associated both in terminals and in applications, with versions with fewer features, but that preserve the essence of the terminal. With the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, we do not find a terminal of this range that maintains its main attraction: the S Pen.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite, as it was officially presented through a press release last January within the framework of the CES which was held, one more year, in Las Vegas. Although at first the rumors suggested that this terminal would be destined for the Asian market, mainly India, fortunately this has not been the case and we can already get hold of him in some European countries, including Spain. At the moment we do not have news if the expansion plans of this terminal go through Latin America, but it is most likely.

What the Galaxy Note 10 Lite offers us
If Samsung was planning to launch a Note range for all budgets, it had to start reduce expenses while maintaining the usual quality of your products, so the changes are inside. The processor, Exynos 9810, is the same processor that Samsung used in both the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy Note 9, a processor that today works like a charm and offers fantastic performance.
RAM memory drops to 6GB of RAM, more than enough if we take into account that this model is not compatible with 5G networks, since it would make its price more expensive. The only internal storage available of 128 GB, space that we can also expand using a microSD card.
In the photographic section, we find three cameras: 12 mpx main, 12 mpx wide angle and 12 mpx telephoto. The front camera, located in the upper center of the screen (in the Note 10 range it is located in the upper right part) reaches 32 mpx. Hit the market with Android 10 and the Samsung One UI 2.0 customization layer and it does it for 609 euros.

Is the Galaxy Note 10 lite worth it?
Yes. Here we could finish the summary that I am going to detail below to explain the reasons why I consider that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is an excellent option today, despite the differences that we can find with his two older brothers.
Points in favor
- Screen. The screen of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite reaches 6,7 inches, just 0,1 inches smaller than the Note 10+. In addition, it offers us a resolution higher than Note 10, but lower than Note 10+, a resolution more than enough for day to day and that we will hardly notice a difference.
- Storage. The storage available in the Lite version is 128 GB, more than enough space for 90% of users. If you use your smartphone to record videos and this space is too small for you, you can expand the storage using microSD cards.
- S Pen Samsung's Note range is the only one that offers us a stylus that really works and has real utility thanks to the integration with Samsung's customization layer. Also, if you've always wanted to have a note for the S Pen and you couldn't afford it, now you have no excuse.
- Drums. The Note 10 Lite offers us a higher battery capacity than the Note 10+, reaching 4.500 mAh, so we will have more than enough battery to make intensive use of the terminal.
- Price. While the only available version of the range Note 10 Lite is available for 599 euros on Amazon, the Note 10 starts at 959 euros (700 euros on Amazon) and the Note 10+ for 1.109 euros (954 euros on Amazon). Also, if we have a little patience, and wait a couple of months, we can most likely find the Note 10 Lite for less than 500 euros on Amazon.
Bad points
- Processor. The processor, as I have mentioned above, is the same that we could find in the Galaxy S9 and Note 9, a processor that is about to turn two years old, but that offers us quite good performance for the time it has.
- Cameras. The cameras that we find in this version do not offer us the same quality and resolution as their older brothers, they are the same that we find in the Galaxy S10, but they are more than enough for anyone's day-to-day life.
- RAM. The 5G versions that Samsung is launching on the market are managed by a greater amount of RAM memory, due to system requirements. In this case, and because the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is only available in 4G version, the RAM is limited to 6 GB, although more than enough for day to day.
Conclusion
The Note range has always been the object of desire of many users but its high price was getting out of hand. With this new range, Samsung wants to attract this audience, but along the way you have to make sacrifices in terms of power and performance, the most expensive aspects, along with the screen of the device.
If you have a budget of 600 euros to renew your smartphone and want or need an S Pen, the only option on the market is the Note 10 Lite. If, on the other hand, you want to enjoy the latest in processors, screens, storage, memory and more on the market, there are other more interesting options for the same price.
