And it is that LG seems to have decided to break with all the rules established within the mobile telephony market and has developed a terminal full of novelties and interesting ideas, which will have to be seen how they are received by users.

Design, the differentiating point of the Galaxy S7
If we put the LG G5 and the Galaxy S7 face to face on a table, I sincerely believe that we can see how Samsung's terminal wins in terms of design over LG's terminal. There will be those who will be convinced by one more than the other, but nobody can escape that the Galaxy S7 is a more perfect terminal, with better finishes and I would almost dare to say that it is more beautiful.
Samsung has been able to do things very well in recent times in terms of design, and has managed to perfect its flagship. LG for its part has radically changed the design of the LG G5, and has managed to take a step forward with respect to the design of the LG G4, but staying one step behind compared to the aesthetics of the Galaxy S7. This has been able to introduce something really interesting in its design, such as the possibility of adding modules or accessories, but we will talk about that later.
Power and performance
Inside both mobile devices we find enormous power, which undoubtedly ensures great performance. Samsung has decided for the Galaxy 7 for a processor of its own manufacture such as the Exynos 8890 that has 4 cores at 2.3 GHz and another 4 cores at 1.66 GHz, supported by 4 GB of RAM. For its part, LG has opted for the new Snapdragon 820, a safe bet, which will withstand any type of test also supported by 4 GB of RAM.
As for the internal storage, we find very similar specifications and it is that both will coincide in a 32 GB storage and then offer us other versions. Also in both terminals we find the similarity that we can expand this storage using microSD cards. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy S7, this is an option that is present again since it had disappeared in the Galaxy S6, something that was highly criticized by most users.
Are the cameras of these terminals the best on the market?
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 set the bar very high when it comes to cameras, offering us enormous quality when it comes to taking pictures and also some interesting options. Fortunately the cameras of the new LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 seem to have managed to overcome that bar and offer us even better quality and better benefits.
Samsung has left the megapixel war and has preferred to increase the size of them, to offer us a better image quality, even if it is not drawing much attention in the aspect of megapixels. The rear camera of the Galaxy S7 is featured with a 12 um 1,4 megapixel sensor.
For its part, LG wanted to give continuity to the good work done in the LG G4 and they have incorporated a 16 megapixel sensor, with all the interesting options that the previous flagship offered us.
As is always the case on paper, cameras look like the best on the market, although They will have to be tested and squeezed to the fullest in order to draw really valid conclusions. At the moment the Xperia Z5 seems to still have the best camera, although we will have to wait to see if both the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 can stand up to it.
The risky and differentiating bet of the LG G5
LG has wanted to surprise all of us who are part of the mobile phone market in one way or another and has implemented an interesting feature, which it has baptized with the name of Magic Slot. It is also something totally differentiating from other terminals on the market and so far we have not seen something similar in any mobile device.
Thanks to this interesting feature we can modify some of the characteristics of our LG G5. For example, we can add more battery to the new LG flagship and that is that we can pass the 2.800 mAh of battery that brings to the 4.000 mAh that we will achieve thanks to the expansion of the battery by this method.
Also, as confirmed by LG itself, improve the audio with another module and expand the functionalities of the camera. We also hope that with the passage of time new modules will be launched that allow us to increase the benefits or offer us new functions.
Price
At the moment LG has not made official the prices with which the LG G5 and its more than interesting additional accessories will hit the market, so it is certainly difficult to talk about this issue. Samsung has made the price of the Galaxy S7 official and also in a large number of countries you can already make the reservation of the terminal.
The most basic version of the Galaxy S7, the one that offers us an internal storage of 32 GB is 699 euros. Recall that in the new Samsung flagship it is possible this time to expand the storage using microSD cards so this 32 GB version will not be a problem for any user.
From here the Galaxy S7 goes up in price, specifically 100 euros for each jump in the internal storage that we make. 799 euros for the 64 GB and 899 for the 128 GB of storage.
As for the Galaxy S7 edge, its starting price is 799 euros, and it goes up to 899 and 999 euros in the 64 GB and 128 GB models.
Despite that at the moment we do not know the price of the LG G5, We have no doubt that it will be inferior to that of any version of the Galaxy S7 and that is that LG has always known how to rush the prices of its terminals to try to be more competitive.
Opinion freely
There is no doubt that LG and Samsung have made two absolutely outstanding mobile devices, which differ in few respects as far as specifications are concerned, but they do have great differences in terms of design. And is that LG seems to have decided to bet on a new design and an interesting feature such as interchangeable modules.
We do not know how this bet will turn out, although in the eyes of almost everyone it is quite attractive. Samsung seems to have wanted to closely follow the line followed in previous versions of its flagship, and we see very little news in this Galaxy S7 compared to the Galaxy S6, something that some people like and many dislike.
Sinceramente I think this duel is won by the LG G5 by a landslide The Galaxy S7 is tremendously powerful, it offers us a high-performance camera, as well as a careful design, but it does not offer us any innovation compared to previous devices. Most users want and are looking for news to acquire a new smartphone and more with the price with which this new Samsung Galaxy reaches the market.
The LG G5 is practically as powerful as the Galaxy S7, but it offers us differentiating characteristics that in my humble opinion make it the clear winner of this duel.

I agree with the continuity of Samsung. I would even say that Samsung is half lost and with comings and goings. I mean the sd slot and the water resistance that the s5 already had.
