Unboxing and package content
If there is one thing that Sonos does very exquisitely, it is the packaging of its products. In the line of its other products we have received a huge box that has a carrying handle, good protection measures and above all two anchors that allow us to open and close the box quickly and safely. You will not need scissors, knives or any other type of gadget, something that is much appreciated. Honestly, the packaging is up to expectations for a product with these characteristics.
Once we open the box, as in other products of the brand, we find the device wrapped in a textile bag sealed with brand stickers. Just below we find a small box in which we will find the rest of the accessories necessary for its operation, this is the package content:

In this case we have not found included the classic Ethernet cable (RJ45) that the firm usually includes, and I honestly do not think that it is too necessary in these times. What if I have missed it is the typical poster that Sonos includes with the instructions.
Product design
On this occasion, as usually happens in almost the entire range of Sonos products, we will be able to buy it in a matte white or matte black color. Sonos Arc leaves behind the textile grilles, embracing the brand's new design direction, which is why it is made entirely of one piece, this makes it much easier to clean and maintain. An example is the Sonos Beam, which does have a textile coating.
As expected, we are facing a product of 6,25 Kg, and this is due not only to the huge number of speakers inside, but also to its considerable size. To take a quick example, it is as long as a standard 50-inch television. Specifically we have dimensions of 87 millimeters high, 1141,7 millimeters wide and 115,7 millimeters deep. It is definitely large and many users may not have where to place it, however, for that we have the wall bracket, which you must purchase separately. It is clear that the dimensions of the product can back off some user, but they are necessary.
We now talk a bit about the final design of the product. This bar features a flat, silicone-coated bottom that will keep it in place and prevent shaking noise. Both on the sides and on the upper part we find a totally oval shape. We have had access to the black unit, as you can identify in the photographs, however the matte color unit is especially suitable for wood-colored furniture or darker colors. The design is not at all garish and accompanies almost anywhere.
In the upper central part we have the tactile multimedia controls that are so common in the products sound, as well as Speaker status indicator LED. This has an ambient light sensor and we can also configure it independently.
For his part in the back The HDMI eARC port, the sync button, the power connection port and the RJ45 input remain in case we need to opt for an internet connection through cables. In this case, the microphone indicator to interact with Alexa or Google Home is on the right side of the Arc.
Setup and first impressions
