Sony stops Android Nougat update on Xperia Z5

Sony

The rush is never good and instead they tell all the manufacturers that today have been forced to paralyze the launch of the highly anticipated version of Android Nougat for their compatible devices. A few days ago Samsung began to release the update for the S7 and S7 Edge, an update that it stopped offering when performance problems were detected in the first terminals that had been updated. HTC has also suffered this process, but it is not the only or the last, since the Japanese manufacturer Sony, has also seen oforced to stop the update of the Xperia Z5, Z3 + and Z4 tablet terminals, which had been launched a few days before, on February 17.

Unlike other manufacturers, the problem that has been detected in this update is related to the increase in volume of the terminals, an update that many users have appreciated but that the company says is not acceptable, so they have been forced to stop the deployment until they fix this problem. Apparently the terminals that have been affected by this problem are located in Russia, so it could only have been the ROM destined for this country.

For now, users who have already updated to this version will receive shortly a notification via OTA with a small update that will solve these volume problems. We do not know how long it will take the company to solve this small problem, which, as I have said, users liked a lot but that in the long run could pose a problem for the integrity of the users of these devices, since the speakers could leave from operating to being subjected to more power continuously than they allow.
