Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro are a new alternative with ANC and high definition

Soundcore is an audio firm that has established itself in this voracious sector through the manufacture of products with high quality standards, as is the case with others that we have been analyzing here at Actualidad Gadget like Cambridge Audio or Jabra. So we get to work now with Soundcore.

We take an in-depth look at the new Liberty 3 Pro from Soundcore, TWS headphones with ANC and Hi-Res audio that will delight users. Find out with us how the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro excels and if they really deliver on all those promises.

Materials and design

These Liberty 3 Pro have a differentiating design and it is something that is appreciated in a market for TWS headphones where some seem to be direct copies of others. In this case, Soundcore is strongly committed to a differentiating design even in its case, this looks like a "pillbox" that opens by sliding upwards and looks pretty good. As for the colors, we can choose white, greenish gray, lilac and black. They have a series of rubbers around that adapt it to our ear, so they do not fall off and insulate correctly. All this without forgetting that we are really facing in-ear headphones, that is, they are inserted into the ear.

In this way, with their design, they allow air circulation through a system that reduces the pressure inside the ear and makes daily use more comfortable. We have three fundamental ergonomic grip points, the "fin" at the top, the rubber on the bottom and the grip that occurs with the silicone pad. A disruptive design and they are quite comfortable.

Technical characteristics and «Golden Sound»

We now go to the purely technical. They are manufactured with a front camera and a structure that allows to reduce the size and improve the sound frequencies. It also includes an armored driver and finally a 10,6-millimeter dynamic driver. It thus uses ACAA 2.0 coaxial sound technology with active noise cancellation through a customization system including internal microphones.

The supported audio codecs are LDAC, AAC and SBC, in principle we will have high resolution sound even though it does not go hand in hand with Qualcomm's aptX standard. It should also be noted that they are independent true wireless headphones, we will be able to use them separately without any problem.

We have this way of a personalized sound through the HearID system and surround sound in three dimensions. As we know that you still want to do some exercise with them, you could not miss certified water resistance IPX4 that will solve most of the uses that we can expect. We do not have complete information on the interior hardware in terms of connectivity, we know that it is Bluetooth 5 and that the aforementioned LDAC codec allows us access to Hi-Res sound, that is, with three times more data than the standard Bluetooth format. Custom noise cancellation and app

The six integrated microphones with Artificial Intelligence make the noise cancellation of these Liberty 3 Pro extremely good and that we have been able to appreciate in our tests. Despite all this, we can take advantage of three different alternatives depending on our tastes and needs. What they have called HearID ANC identifies the acoustic level of the outside and the inside of the ear, so we can adjust three levels of noise cancellation from the lowest to the highest depending on the type of noise we are perceiving. All this without forgetting the mythical "transparency mode" that we have not been able to test since it does not include it until a next update, this system is called Enchance Vocal Mode.

For all this we have the application of Soundcore (Android / iPhone) with a multitude of functionalities and a good user interface. In this application we can adjust the reactions to the touches we make on the headphones to interact with their touch controls, as well as change some connection settings and preferences with the rest of the devices. How could it be otherwise, we have an equalization system with which we can play to end up opting for our favorite version.

Autonomy and details of a "premium" product

Anker's Soundcore has not provided us with specific information regarding the mAh battery capacity of these headphones. Yes they promise us 8 hours of use on a single charge, that have been reduced by 10 to 15 percent in our tests with noise cancellation turned on. We have a total of 32 hours if we include the charges of the case, which in the same way, we have been around 31 hours in total.

This case allows us to charge the headphones so that in just 15 minutes they offer us another three hours of playback. In addition, charging of the case is done using a USB-C cable, but how could it be otherwise we have wireless charging with Qi standard in its lower part, as well as three LEDs on the front that inform us of the autonomy status. All these data slightly improve those offered by the Liberty Air 3 Pro and the Liberty 2 Pro. At the level of autonomy, these Liberty 3 Pro are at the level of the best, although their size already gave good faith that they would have an outstanding in this section .

Editor's opinion

We have been pleasantly surprised by these Liberty 3 Pro their fine and detailed audio quality where we can find all kinds of harmonies and frequencies. The noise cancellation is outstanding, both passively and actively, and its good microphones have given a great response to the need to make calls or hold video conferences. The Bluetooth connection is stable in all respects. It is striking, yes, an excessive enhancement of the bass and that the touch controls do not respond well as often as we would like. Its price is around 159,99 euros on Amazon and the official website of Anker.
