SPC Smart Ultimate, a very economical real option

We return with SPC, a firm that has accompanied us with many analyzes in recent years, although this time we have the opportunity to see a device that is perhaps not the most powerful line of business of the brand, but that never hurts to remember, we are talking about smartphones.

We analyze the new SPC Smart Ultimate, an economical option with everything you need for day-to-day life and great autonomy for those who care about price. Discover with us the characteristics of this new SPC terminal and if it really positions itself as an alternative according to its price.

Design: Price and durability per flag

First of all, we find a plastic body, something that also happens at the back, where we have a cover made of a double texture that allows us to provide greater grip and an appearance, why not say it, something more jovial. Fmade of pristine black plastic on the back, All the prominence remains for the sensor and the LED flash.

  • Sizes: × × 158,4 74,6 10,15
  • Weight: 195 grams

The upper part for the 3,5mm jack still exists, while in the lower part we have the USB-C port through which we will carry out the charges. Double button on the left profile for the volume and a "power" button on the right side that, in my opinion, could have made it a little bigger. The phone has considerable measurements and an accompanying weight, but it feels well built and appears to have a good level of resistance to time and impacts.

For the latter we have a transparent silicone case included in the package, along with the charging cable, the power adapter and of course a protective film for the screen that comes installed. A design that lets go, with pronounced frames in the front area as well as a "drop-type" camera.

Technical characteristics

This SPC Smart Ultimate is accompanied by a processor Quad Core Unisoc T310 2GHz, something different from what we are used to seeing with the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon and of course MediaTek. What's more, It is accompanied by 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. that in our tests it has moved relatively well with the most common applications and RRSS, although obviously we cannot ask for an effort that, due to capacity, would be impossible for it to make.

It has a IMG PowerVR GE8300 GPU enough to run the graphics of the aforementioned applications as well as the user interface, far from offering acceptable performance in heavily loaded video games such as CoD Mobile or Asphalt 9. As for storage, we have 32GB of internal memory.

  • It has USB-C OTG

All this set of hardware works with Android 11 in a very clean version, something that is appreciated, moving away from other brands like Realme that fill our screen with adware, something that those of you who have been following me for a long time seem to me to be an unforgivable mistake.

This means that yesWe are only going to find the official Google applications to run the Operating System well, and the official application of SPC.

At the level of connectivity we will have all 4G networks usual in the European territory: (B1, B3, B7, B20), as well as 3G @ 21 Mbps, HSPA + (900/2100) and of course GPRS / GSM (850/900/1800/1900). We also have GPS and A-GPS along with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. 2.4GHz and 5GHz accompanied by connectivity Bluetooth 5.0.

It draws our attention that we continue with the option of enjoy FM Radio, something that will undoubtedly please a certain sector of users. On the other hand, the removable tray will allow us to include two NanoSIM cards or expand the memory up to 256GB more.

Multimedia experience and autonomy

We have a screen 6,1 inches, an IPS LCD panel which has sufficient brightness, although it may not be as bright in outdoor situations with too much natural lighting. It also has an aspect ratio of 19,5: 9 and 16,7 million colors, all to offer HD + resolution, that is, 1560 × 720, giving the user a density of 282 pixels per inch.

The screen has a sufficient color adjustment and a panel that is obviously cheap. The sound, from a single speaker, is powerful enough but lacks character (for obvious price reasons).

In terms of autonomy we have a 3.000 mAh battery, although due to the thickness of the device we would have imagined that it could be more. We have no information regarding charging speeds, if we add to that that it is not included in the box (despite its size) no power adapter, because we have the perfect storm.

However, lThe 3.000 mAh offer a good result for a day and a half or two days taking into account the technical capabilities of the device and that the Operating System is very clean, so we will not have absurd processes in the background.

Cameras

Have a rear camera 13MP capable of recording at FullHD resolution (above screen), no Night Mode or slow motion capabilities. For its part, the front camera has 8MP for more than enough selfies. Evidently, the cameras of this SPC Smart Ultimate are in accordance with its low price and its intention is none other than to be able to share some content on Social Networks and get us out of trouble.

Editor's Opinion

This SPC Smart Ultimate It has a cost of only 119 euros, and I don't know if you should have something else in mind. Little is required of a terminal that costs so little. We find ourselves with a lifesaver, a phone that allows us to make calls in good conditions, consume multimedia content on the main platforms without any kind of stridency and communicate with our loved ones through the most popular applications, nothing more.

It offers hardware at the height of the price, directly rivaling Xiaomi's Redmi range, but giving us a completely clean experience, without intermediaries, advertising or unnecessary applications. Whether you need a phone for the little ones, for the elderly or just a second lifesaving device, this SPC Smart Ultimate gives you exactly what you pay for it.
