Thanks to the DeX Station, we will turn our Galaxy S8 into a PC

As the presentation date of the Galaxy S8 approaches, more and more rumors are leaking on the internet related to the features and functions that the Samsung flagship offers us. A few weeks ago a rumor began to circulate in which it was claimed that the Galaxy S8 and S8 + could be used as if they were a PC, connecting them to a keyboard and an external monitor, just like Windows 10 Mobile allows through the Continuum function. . What was previously a rumor, It has been confirmed and thanks to WinFuture the images have been filtered of how the dock necessary to do it will be.

This dock includes a cooling system to keep the device cool at all times, especially when we put it to do jobs that require all the power of the processor, be it the 835 from Snapdragon or the 8895 Exynos from Samsung, such as to play content in 4k. This dock, which will be priced at 149,99 euros, will have an HDMI output that will allow it to show videos in 4k quality at 30 fps and two USB 2.0 ports, something illogical considering that it is version 3.0 that is increasingly being found in more equipment and offers us a higher data transmission speed.

The DeX Station also offers us a 100 Mbps Ethernet port. It will allow us to recharge the device using the fast charging system. As we can see in the image, the device can be folded so that it takes up less space and can be easily transported. Until both the device and the dock are officially presented, the only thing we can do is speculate on how it will work, an operation that to be useful should show us an interface similar to that of ChromeOS, now that both operating systems are compatible with the Google Play. On March 29 we will leave doubts.
