Although no one was waiting for the launch of either of the two terminals, a few hours ago the Canadian company officially presented the new BlackBerry DTEK50 or BlackBerry Neon as we knew it until now.
For this second Android smartphone, BlackBerry has had the help and support of Alcatel, which has created an almost exact copy of its Alcatel Idol 4, although the Canadians have been in charge of providing it with maximum security, one of the signs of identity of the company that Jhon Chen runs, its exclusive applications or its own personalization layer.
In addition, and although we will comment on it a little later, the price is significantly better than that of the BlackBerry Priv and means that it can be a mobile device within the reach of any user.

In view of these specifications there is no doubt that BlackBerry and Alcatel have managed to create a more than interesting mobile device, although once again we could say that BlackBerry has lacked a step to say that it has created an outstanding device and that everyone would like to get their hands on. It is not only the design, but a somewhat outdated processor, a battery that may seem scarce and a version of Android that is by no means the latest available on the market, are some aspects that do not invite optimism and that surely they will not finish convincing a possible buyer.
A design that we have seen before, but good software
When BlackBerry decided to partner with Alcatel to manufacture its new Android mobile devices, we all assumed that we would see a terminal that would bear some resemblance to those of the Idol series, which have been so successful and have received so many good comments from critics. . What almost no one expected is that heThe new BlackBerry, second with Android operating system, was an exact copy of the Alcatel Idol 4.
No matter where you look at it, this new BlackBerry reminds you of the successful Alcatel terminal, although yes, when you turn it on things change and it reminds us that we are looking at a device from the Canadian firm.
