The Galaxy Note 8 will be a reality and this is what we ask of the new Samsung smartphone

Samsung

Samsung has already revealed the problems that led him to have to withdraw the Galaxy Note 7. As is well known, the battery was the main culprit in the end of the adventure of the phablet, which was called to be one of the great stars of the market of mobile telephony and that seemed to be a clear candidate for the best mobile device of the year award. This terminal is already history, but the good news is that the South Korean company has already confirmed that there will be Galaxy Note 8.

At the moment this is all we know, and we may not see this new device until after the summer, but without a doubt We already have at least 7 things to ask the next Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and that we are going to show you in this, hopefully, interesting article.

That does not explode or catch fire

Samsung

It may seem like a no-brainer, but The first thing we should ask the Galaxy Note 8 is not to explode or catch fire since with the experience of the Galaxy Note 7 we have had more than enough. The good thing about all the problems that Samsung has had in recent times is that it is going to take even more time to test and make sure that its new smartphones do not have any problems or construction defects.

The first example of this is the delay in the official presentation of the Galaxy S8, we imagine derived from the problems suffered and that have served to review absolutely all aspects of this new device. The good news is that it is more than possible that we will no longer see a Samsung device explode or catch fire.

Make the screen flat again

Since Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 in two versions on the market, one with a curved screen and the other totally flat, it seems that it has wanted to work in the direction of creating terminals with only curved or edge screens. The Galaxy Note 7 was released on the market in a single version, with curved screen, something that did not convince us all and is that this type of screen has little use in the first place and does not like everyone.

Hopefully the South Korean company will rethink its strategy with the Galaxy Note 8 and we will once again have a version with a flat screen and not just a curved one, so that at least we can choose the version that most convinces us.

More power, always with control

One of the things that most caught our attention about the Galaxy Note 7 is the lack of power, compared to other terminals in the family, which, as they say, were real beasts. Most members of the Galaxy Note family were crowned, for example in AnTuTu, as the most powerful smartphones on the market, but the Note 7 was far from reigning in the benchmarks.

AnTuTu 2016

On the Galaxy Note 8 many already dare to bet that it will mount a Snapdragon 835 processor, which will be supported by 6GB of RAM. The strange thing is that this will not place it as the most powerful terminal on the market, but at the height of many of its competitors. Samsung, if you want to give the note, we need more power, although yes, always with control please.

A twist on design

Samsung

Samsung innovated very little with the design of the Galaxy Note 7, although we could say that it did not need major changes compared to what we had seen for example in the Galaxy S7 edge. However face To the Galaxy Note 8 we could ask the South Korean company for a twist in terms of design, and that it would offer us something different, something that we have not seen.

Many manufacturers, without much weight in the mobile phone market, have managed to surprise with their designs and give it a twist. Let's hope that Samsung will surprise us with some interesting change or, for example, a completely renewed S Pen that not only allows us new functionalities but also offers us new ways to save or use it.

More storage and not just a 64GB version

Not too long ago we saw how Samsung made a firm commitment to eliminating the microSD card, leaving only the internal storage available to the user. However, they soon realized that it had not been an idea and for example the Galaxy Note 7 arrived on the market with the possibility of expanding the storage, which had been uniquely set at 64GB.

We should ask the Galaxy Note 8 not only to maintain the possibility of using microSD cards, but also that more versions reach the market in terms of internal storage. It would not be enough if we could see a 128GB version and even another 256GB, mainly not to always have to depend on microSD cards that in the long run slow down the operation of the terminal.

I hope Samsung does not follow the path started by Apple

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),

Apple officially presented a few months ago the iPhone 7 and 7 iPhone Plus in which one of the most relevant changes was the elimination of the 3.5 mm jack. Over time it has not been a problem for almost anyone, but not too many users would be able to recognize that this has been satisfactory or beneficial.

Moment the market does not tend to follow the path initiated by Apple, except in a few cases, and we hope that Samsung does not follow either and keep in its terminals and of course in the Galaxy Note 8 the presence of the traditional headphone jack.

An impossible; a lower price

An impossible thing that practically all of us would ask Samsung, would be that the price of the Galaxy Note 8 was lower. Unfortunately I am convinced that the new flagship of the South Korean company will not be an economic terminal and that it will be within reach of only a few pockets.

For asking that it does not remain and hopefully the new Galaxy Note 8 arrives on the market, loaded with improvements and with a price with which to fight with, for example, the best Chinese smartphones on the market.

What would you ask the next Galaxy Note 8 which Samsung has already officially confirmed will hit the market?. Tell us in the space reserved for comments on this post or through any of the social networks in which we are present.
