The Sony Xperia XZ Premium will hit the market on May 7

Once the MWC has ended, little by little The launch dates of most of the terminals that were presented at this fair are being revealed, along with the price of the same, a price that is never revealed following some kind of unwritten tradition. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium was one of the terminals together with the LG G6 that attracted the most attention. But not because of its borderless screen, nor because of its continuous design, but it will hit the market with the Snapdragon 835, the latest processor from the Qualcomm company, a processor that in theory would only be in Samsung's possession during the first months.

But also, another of the novelties that this terminal brought us is the fantastic camera that allows us to record videos of up to 960 fps, when the maximum we can find on the market is 240 fps. Of course, the size of the videos is limited to clips of 10 seconds, but it starts with something. Both the price of this new device and the launch date, were not revealed during the fair, but several rumors they pointed out that June would be the month selected by the company to put it into circulation, long after its top rivals hit the market.

Keep in mind that the LG G6 will hit the market at the end of this month, the Huawei P10 is already accepting reservations and will hit the market in a few days. Samsung, for its part, plans to start shipping the first pre-orders of the S8 and S8 + from April 21. But it seems that Sony is doing everything possible to advance the launch date of this terminal, already the new circulating date points to May 7, Sony's new terminal would reach the market, a date very far from its presentation, and that makes it lose many integers in the race for high-end smartphones.
