On Friday the Samsung Galaxy S6 in several countries (including Spain and the United States). The AT&T telephone operator has given us a terminal that we have been able to test throughout the weekend. The Samsung Galaxy S6 becomes the best phone from the South Korean manufacturer to date, with an appearance that reminds us of the iPhone 6, and a powerful processor that sets the bar high. We analyze Samsung's new flagship.

What struck me the most about the Samsung Galaxy S6 out of the box was its finish. Those rounded corners, those details on the metal edges and the metal edges themselves reminded a lot of my other phone: the iPhone 6. Comparisons between the two rival companies are, once again, unavoidable. And the similarities are not only found on the phone: the Galaxy S6 headphones look suspiciously like Apple's EarPods. We must emphasize, yes, that the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is amazing. The front and the back are glass (with Gorilla Glass 4). The sapphire black finish (which is what we show you in the video) looks great in person. Finally, Samsung bets on durable and elegant materials (the first foray into this territory was made with the Galaxy Alpha).
The phone feels good in the hands, with dimensions of 143,4 x 70,5 x 6,8 mm and a thickness of 138 grams. The only negative aspect of the design is found at the rear, with the camera sticking out of the glass.
The device is available in various colors: sapphire black, white, blue and gold. This model is not waterproof (the previous one, Samsung Galaxy S5, it was).
Technical specifications
Once again, Samsung has once again set the bar high for its competitors. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a powerful terminal, in which some aspects have been sacrificed, such as battery capacity and the possibility of increasing physical storage, but it moves smoothly. Samsung has made use of an Exynos home-made processor with eight cores and a 64bit structure. The memory RAM is 3GB.
The screen maintains its 5,1 megapixels, but it rises in quality by integrating a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a density of 557 pixels per inch. This is the best screen on the market for a smartphone, a merit that could be good or not. First, the human eye can barely perceive such resolution, and second, the battery life is impaired.
La camera is still a highlight for Samsung. The rear features a 16-megapixel lens, with optical image stabilization and the ability to record video with 2160-pixel quality. The front camera is 5 megapixels. Although the quality of images taken in low-light environments has been improved, this section still needs improvement.
In the battery department we have to anticipate that the capacity is lower than the Samsung Galaxy S5, 2550 mAh, but we still get a whole day of performance. We can recharge this Samsung Galaxy S6 quickly with a wireless base (with 20 minutes of charging we will get four hours of battery life).
The terminal can be purchased in capacities of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB, storage that we can no longer expand, since microSD reader is not included.
Software, Samsung Pay and Fingerprints
The Samsung Galaxy S6 introduces the operating system Android Lollipop and your usual interface tweaks. In our case, pre-installed applications from Google and AT&T are included (this time Samsung has decided to bet more on search engine tools, despite the fact that in the past it has shown symptoms of wanting to distance itself from the American company).
Inside the terminal we find the Samsung Pay payment option, in which we can store our credit cards and use the telephone in establishments when paying. Samsung Pay is the new payment tool exclusively incorporated into the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edege.
An aspect that has received a Worthy improvement has been the fingerprint detector. On the Samsung Galaxy S6, we no longer have to slide our finger from the bottom of the screen to the home button. It will be enough that we have our finger on that button. The process is easier now and the fingerprint will be recognized more quickly. Still sometimes read errors still occur.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is already available in several countries with storage capacities of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. In Spain we can find it from $699.

The internet looks very good, on it. You can navigate palante and patrás and read all the news.
And you send some e-mails to whoever you want and with all the letters you want.
What I mean is that in recent years this seems to be what the buyer is looking for: that it is very beautiful.
The functionalities are THE SAME as a mid-range or even low-end smartphone (ok, maybe you couldn't play the latest game, which needs 8 cores ... but nobody plays that with a smartphone ...)
