Regarding the design This LG G5 is a very nice terminal that is striking for having, like other previous LG terminals, the front completely clean and without any button. We only find the volume controls on the left side of the terminal and the lock button, which also incorporates a fingerprint sensor, on the back, just below the camera.

The entire smartphone has a metallic finish, in our case in gold and that gives a great feeling to the touch. In addition, one of the things that has caught my attention is that when holding the terminal it seems smaller than it really is, largely due to the reduced frames of the device.

Unfortunately, not everything could be positive in terms of design, and if we focus on the rear camera we realize that it protrudes perhaps too much, and can become uncomfortable. Of course, if you normally use the terminal with a cover, this problem disappears.

The most negative aspect of this screen is undoubtedly its brightness, which is very short outdoors, where it is absolutely necessary to have the maximum brightness. The automatic brightness, so used by many, leaves a lot to want and it works, darn badly outdoors.

One of the great novelties is the "Always ON" function that allows us to keep the screen always on, without noticing a higher battery consumption, while the time and notifications are displayed. Of course, we could say that it is more a curiosity than a certainly useful novelty since the double tap on the screen to wake up our terminal continues to work and is truly useful for many users.

State-of-the-art hardware equals high performance

If we go into the interior of this LG G5 we find the star processed this year, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the Adreno 530 GPU, supported by a 4GB RAM. It goes without saying that with these components the performance is more than good in almost any circumstance.

The camera of this LG G5 is undoubtedly one of its strengths and above all decisive for many usersFor those who could not be too convinced by the modules or the design of the terminal, they decided to buy the LG terminal. And is that the double camera located at the back, offers us two sensors of enormous quality.

The first of these sensors is 16 megapixels, by the 8 megapixels of the second, which is used to improve the final quality of the images. In our opinion, the camera of this LG G5 is at the height of the best on the market, both in bright situations and in dark situations. Of course, you can assess for yourself with the huge collection of images that we offer a little below.

The main sensor of the double camera, which has a laser focus system, allows us to achieve an enormous level of detail in all our photographs. This in turn allows us to expand the photographs to levels that I would dare say cannot be achieved with other mobile devices on the market.

The second camera with an 8 megapixel sensor, as we have already said before, allows taking photographs with an angle of 135 degree vision and that allows us to get absolutely spectacular images. To be able to use this shooting mode, to call it something, simply press a button available on the interface, in the middle of the upper part or by using the zoom, which when you reach a specific moment you go to this mode.

This second sensor, which does not improve the quality of the photographs taken, does serve to get tremendously interesting photographs and even results in some cases. Unfortunately, the quality of the images taken is greatly reduced, although as they say, you cannot have everything. Here we show you a small example;

Battery

After many and many tests I have come to the conclusion that this terminal is low battery, for almost any user. Honestly, it is hard to believe that a smartphone of the so-called high-end can reach the market with a battery so below the needs of any user.

Of course, in its defense we must say that charging the device is a real blessing thanks to its fast charging system that will allow us to have enough battery in the blink of an eye.

The verdict; different, but with a lot of room for improvement

After testing this LG G5 for a while, I decided to take it on vacation, to finally be able to test it thoroughly for several days and not for a few hours. On my vacation last year, he had already taken me as a companion to the LG G4, leaving me tremendously satisfied, to the point of buying it for my personal use. This time I will not buy it although it has left a good taste in my mouth.

First I really liked LG's determined commitment to innovation, who wanted to play the decisive card of the modules, which can give users a lot of play, although it does seem that the bet is not going as well as expected. In my opinion the design is more than good, although if you are used to a 5.5 or even 6 inch screen it may seem too small. In addition, a clear disadvantage is that if you do not think about putting a cover on the LG G5, it will end up on the ground practically every day.

The chamber would pass any exam and would outperform many of the best terminals on the market since it offers us results of enormous quality. In addition, the possibility of taking images with an angle of 135 degrees is more than interesting.

Finally, I cannot close this verdict without talking about the battery, which at least has left me a bit cold. Without overusing the device, at no point did I get the battery to reach the end of the day. In defense of this LG G5 I have to say that from an update launched by the South Korean company things improved a lot, although that is far from the expectations I had.

If we value the terminal as a whole, always keeping in mind both the negative and negative aspects, I think that this LG G5 can reach a note around 8 or 8.5, although it could have a very important margin of improvement, which according to the latest rumors such time we never get to see.

This LG G5 has already been available on the market for a few months and currently we can find it for the most varied prices that can start perfectly at 430 euros and go up to about 500 euros.
