WhatsApp is updated and it is now possible to send messages using Siri

WhatsApp

Just yesterday Apple officially launched iOS 10, the new version of the Cupertino mobile operating system, and WhatsApp took the opportunity to also launch its update adapted to the new software and with new and interesting improvements. Among them, the possibility of using Siri to send messages or make calls through the popular instant messaging application stands out.

If you have already installed the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS, you can ask Siri to text or call someone, with the comfort that this implies. Of course, keep in mind that the first time you use this new functionality, you will be asked for permission.

Just notify Siri with the classic "Hey Siri", followed by what we want to do, which will be "send a WhatsApp to Rocío" or any contact you have linked to the instant messaging application. Next, you must dictate the message you want to send to Siri.

This is not the only novelty that WhatsApp offers us with the latest update and we can also from now on answer voice calls from the instant messaging app from the lock screen. We can also add a widget that will allow us to see, for example, the latest messages received.

WhatsApp for iOS seems to finally begin to incorporate features that all iPhone users have been waiting for a long time, although unfortunately there is still a long way to go and many functions and options to be incorporated to place it on the same level as other instant messaging applications .

What do you think of the news that the latest WhatsApp update for iOS offers us?.
