Who was the great winner of the Mobile World Congress?

MWC 2017

It is only a few days since the Mobile World Congress concluded, and although the hangover of a few days of great intensity still lasts, the momoment to start drawing conclusions from all the news seen at the event. And for this, what better way than to elucidate Who was the great winner of the Mobile World Congress? As you can imagine, the answer is very complicated and even more so when many of the devices that were presented in the city of Barcelona are not available on the market, but without a doubt we are going to try.

Many were the devices that we saw at the MWC, although far above all we could say that they stood out LG G6, Huawei P10 in the two versions in which we could see it, the Galaxy Tab S3 and the Galaxy Book or the new Nokia 3310. In Barcelona we could see many other devices, of all kinds, although most have gone unnoticed by the general public, and we could almost say that up to us, and that of course they will not be able to rise with the title of great winner of the Mobile World Congress.

LG sets the pace with the LG G6

LG G6

One of the mobile devices that most caught our attention was the LG G6, that after the step back that supposed the LG G5 It seems that it will be released in the market ready to do everything and especially to overshadow the iPhone 7 and especially the Samsung Galaxy S8 that will be officially presented on March 29 in New York City.

Its huge screen with hardly any frames, its camera of an enormous quality and a design as a whole of the most attractive are some of its advantages. In addition, the price with which it will be released in the market, somewhat below any smartphone of the so-called high-end range, makes it a great candidate to be the best terminal of the year, although we still have a year and many presentations of new mobile devices .

Nokia 3310, the return to the past

Nokia

Nokia is back in the mobile phone market, with new smartphones with Android operating system and with different specifications, aimed at each of the ranges on the market, and also with a renewal of the legendary Nokia 3310, which all or almost all of us had at some point in our lives not too long ago.

El new Nokia 3310 It has undergone some important changes as regards its design, but it will perfectly function as a second terminal, offering us the possibility of making calls, receiving messages and how not to play the mythical snake game, which has changed a bit with respect to to the original version. Its price will also be the most interesting and that is that for 49 euros we can have and enjoy this mobile device. For the most confused, we remember that this device will not have Android operating system installed inside and that for this reason and many other things it will be impossible to use it as the main smartphone.

Huawei P10, a twist to what has already been seen

Huawei P10

This year's MWC will be remembered for Nokia's return to the mobile phone market, but also for the official presentation of the new Huawei P10, a new terminal from the Chinese manufacturer, which is a twist to what has already been seen and that looks very much like Huawei P9 which was already available on the market.

Huawei is today one of the best manufacturers in the market and also one of the highest sales. This Huawei P10 will undoubtedly be a best seller, although many of us miss the odd novelty. And it is that if you put the last two flagships of Huawei face to face the differences with very few.

Who was the great winner of the Mobile World Congress?

The answer to this question is a simple opinion, which could be different for each of us who have followed the Mobilw World Congress. In my case I am convinced that the great winner of the event held in the city of Barcelona is Nokia, which after being absent for a while due to the sale of its mobile phone division to Microsoft, has returned to the mobile phone market and has undoubtedly done so through the front door.

The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are his big bets for this year and the Nokia 3310 It is his return to the past, with which he will surely be able to bill thousands of units in a large number of places around the world, and vintage is in fashion.

The absolute winner is Nokia, but without a doubt there are many other small-scale winners among which I would place LG, which has managed to reinvent itself after the LG G5 and develop a smartphone with a very good aspect and a promising future. Energy Sistem with its Energy Phone Pro 3, Huawei with its P10 or Sony who will once again try again with an interesting collection of new mobile devices.

The Mobile World Congress 2017 is already history, and for history it will probably remain the return to the scene of Nokia and the presentation of the Nokia 3310, although we cannot help but forget that it has been a somewhat decaffeinated MWC, especially due to the absence of Samsung with its Galaxy S8 and also because of the lack of big ads or at least the announcement of some revolutionary device that would make us all go half crazy. Whether we like it or not, the mobile phone market is becoming monotonous and without big surprises and the event that ended a few days ago and held in Barcelona has followed this trend.

Who was the great winner of the last edition of the Mobile World Congress for you?. Tell us your opinion in the space reserved for comments on this post or through any of the social networks in which we are present.
