Xiaomi has shown the way to Apple or Samsung with the Xiaomi Mi Mix

Xiaomi

It's been a few days since Xiaomi left us with our mouths open almost all with the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, a smartphone with a huge 6.4-inch screen that occupies more than 90% of the front Of the device. It is true that in the promotional images the device seemed to have practically no frame, and once seen in reality this was not the case, and you could see some small frames, but even with everything it clearly seems the future.

I have not yet been lucky enough to have the Mi Mix in my hands, but like all of you we have been able to see it in dozens of videos that have appeared on YouTube and I am increasingly convinced that Xiaomi has shown the way to Apple or Samsung with the Xiaomi Mi Mix.

If you are a bit skeptical or the new Xiaomi terminal does not quite convince you yet, it will be enough for you to continue reading so that you realize that we will soon see an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy without frames and where the screen is the main protagonist.

A screen with hardly any frames that occupies 91.3% of the front

The day that Xiaomi officially presented the Xiaomi Mi Mix, he especially emphasized that the 6.4-inch screen occupies 91.3% of the front, thanks to various incorporated technologies that, for example, allow you to keep the front speaker hidden.

The question is whether a manufacturer will be able to occupy 100% of the front with the screen, something that seems really complicated, and especially if someone will be able to completely eliminate the frames, which limit the screen and that as in the case of this new terminal from the Chinese manufacturer leaves almost everyone a bitter taste in the mouth.

Xiaomi is no longer just any manufacturer in the mobile phone market and without having managed to occupy 91.3% of the front and has also had to add some tiny frames, it is surely because at the moment nothing else can be done.

Apple and Samsung already know the way

The reception of the Xiaomi Mi Mix in the market is being more than good in terms of opinions, and I am almost convinced that as soon as it is released on the market worldwide, success seems assured. Of all this surely Samsung and Apple are taking good note.

According to some rumors Sharp, the manufacturer of the screen of the Mi Mix, could be in charge of making the screen of the iPhone 8. As far as Samsung is concerned, many media today point out that it would already be working intensively on a screen without frames and that it would occupy almost all of the front.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi seems to have found the formula to offer users something that really catches their attention and in the coming months and years I am very afraid that we will see how all manufacturers work in this regard, in a competition where everyone will want to achieve a smartphone without frames and with a screen that occupies the entire front part.

Will we ever see a smartphone whose screen occupies 100% of the front?

The question that arises now for almost all of us is whether any manufacturer will be able to develop and manufacture a smartphone where the screen occupies 100% of the front. Xiaomi has managed with the Mi Mix to offer us a device where the screen occupies more than 90%, something that so far not a single manufacturer had come close to, despite the fact that many had tried it on more than one occasion.

Sinceramente I think there is still a long time before we can see a terminal in which the entire front is a screen, mainly because it would be necessary to find a new location for the Home button, difficult to remove and that, for example, LG tried to place on the back, without convincing too many users. However, everything suggests that we are on the way and sooner as Xiaomi has done now, present by surprise a terminal where the entire front part is occupied by the screen.

Opinion freely; I want a Xiaomi Mi Mix whatever the cost

Xiaomi

Every week we see how a new mobile device makes its premiere on the market, improving the performance of the camera, offering us a better design or providing it with a better processor that is supported by a RAM memory that is hopelessly close to two figures. In my opinion I think Xiaomi has managed to touch a chord with many users And it is that at least I do not need a super processor, or 6 GB of RAM and I do prefer a screen that occupies the entire front and offers me new possibilities.

At the moment the expectation that has raised is enormous and surely the sales figures in a few months will speak for themselves. If the Chinese manufacturer had decided to take a real blow on the table, providing its new terminal with powerful features and its best camera, I am sure it would have managed to get close to the sales figures of some of the most prominent smartphones on the market.

Hopefully the next mobile device from Apple, Samsung or any other company reaches the market with a screen that occupies more than 90% of the front or even close to 100%. I am very afraid that the first to achieve it would have managed to score one of the most important goals in the history of the mobile phone market.

Do you think like me that Xiaomi has shown Apple or Samsung the way with the Xiaomi Mi Mix?. Tell us your opinion in the space reserved for comments on this post or through any of the social networks where we are present. Also tell us if you would be willing to buy the Mi Mix, at whatever price, or any other terminal that has a screen that occupies the entire front and that will be released in the market in the coming months.

Well, not long ago I read that Xiaomi did not spend a euro on R&D, logical if you see the trajectory they have, at least in mobile phones and tablets, all with an iPhone or Samsung air of the current model at the time they are announced, but of course this mobile totally breaks that trend and I hope it makes enough noise to teach Samsung and Apple a good lesson, although this second one is not going to be very difficult, at least with your Iphone 7 that has been very very conservative.

In my case, I prefer the smaller screens, but everything is that my Xiaomi Mi4 breaks down (I hope not) and that the Mi Mix gets within reach hehe.

Greetings I dare to comment on the mobile and I do it from LA, 1st I would like to see it physically and then try it, which I think is a little explored strategy, still exploited, 2nd the price marks differences, however it is not decisive, it is better to think about it, 3rd Let's see if it has planned obsolescence or is there a strategy about it. Greetings and I hope I reach LA on the Pacific side,

You will forgive me (as an adoptive Gijonian) but there are many mobiles without a physical home button. Seen the mimix the only problem would be the front camera.

Well, normally this type of xiaomi is very expensive, according to what I have seen on YouTube, a mobile without frames at a very low price is the doogee MIX, I do not know if anyone has seen it but when I saw it on video I was delighted because it is an economic mobile without frames and With great features so it is very interesting if it costs less than 200 Euros as the brand says it will cost
