ZTE reaches an agreement with the United States to continue its operations

It seems that after several months the soap opera comes to an end. A few months ago ZTE suffered an embargo for which they could not use components in their phones from the United States. A problem, because 25% of the components that the Chinese manufacturer uses come from this country, especially its Snapdragon processors. Therefore, they have been trying to find an agreement to solve the situation.

It seems that this agreement has finally arrived. Thanks to the same ZTE you will be able to summarize your operations, after completely stopping the marketing of phones a little over a month ago. They will be able to function normally again shortly.

The United States and China have been negotiating the past weeks in search of an agreement for the Chinese manufacturer. Trump himself was in favor of an agreement, but the American Senate was not for the work. So the agreement was delayed and it did not seem that it was going to arrive.

It has finally happened, but it is going to cost ZTE quite a bit. Because the company has to pay a fine of $ 1.000 billion to be able to operate again. In addition, they have to put 400 million dollars, for possible infractions in the future. They are also forced to change the entire board of directors, in a period of thirty days.

So these are quite tough conditions that the company faces. But this way ZTE will be able to operate again, after approximately three weeks without any type of activity. Something that seriously affected the company and put its future in question.

It is certainly good news for ZTE, that he hopes to start producing shortly. No dates have yet been mentioned for this production to start again, so we hope that the company itself will inform users.
