Apple's individual wireless earbuds are called AirPods

AirPods

Yesterday's Apple Keynote did much more than just an iPhone. Actually, we are talking about the first waterproof device and many other novelties, but what really catches our attention right now are the new wireless headphones that the Cupertino company was pleased to present yesterday afternoon. AirPods is what Apple has decided to call its standalone wireless earbuds. These headphones have a technology and a fairly successful development, taking into account that there are models in the competition, but none offer the autonomy, design and functionalities that AirPods offer.

Apple has wanted to call its headphones with the adjective "smart." For it They have a small processor called W1 who will be in charge of making the best decisions for our wireless audio. AirPods are an accessory that will need to be purchased separately. In terms of features, both devices will have a microphone, which will allow them not only to be used as hands-free, but used separately. They have sensors that will determine when we are wearing them or not in the ear, with the intention of pausing or starting the music playback.

How could it be otherwise, they are fully compatible with Siri, the virtual assistant of Apple devices. The AirPods will have a box that has technology NFC, which will help when pairing the headphones to the devices, since they will work only by bringing the box closer to an iOS device. On the other hand, the box acts as a charger for the headphones. These AirPods have 5h autonomy on one charge, and 15min of charge give 3 hours of playback. If we combine the autonomy of the charging case we will have 24 hours of uninterrupted function. The price in Spain is € 179 and they are already available in the Apple Store.
