Facebook would be testing the "I don't like" button on some users

Facebook

It is not the first time we have heard that the most powerful social network on the planet is working on a "I don't like" button with which users can express their disagreement with a publication. It is a delicate subject and therefore we still haven't seen how that future button appears.

However, it appears that Facebook is testing a new option on some users in the United States. Now, it's not a "I don't like" button as you think. For some time the best way to implement an option in Mark Zuckerg's social network that demonstrates the disagreement or outrage of users is being studied but without the service being filled with negativity.

Some users, as we said, have found a new option in the comments of public publications. Among the options is not available a button «I don't like it», instead an option appears that has been dubbed "Downvote" something like "Reduce the vote"; that is, it is the way to make an opinion or comment in general go to the end of the open thread or directly hide it. In this way, the impact among other commenters would be reduced, especially if we talk about comments with a higher tone than usual (insults or loaded with hatred towards something or someone, for example).

It looks like, this option is only being tested on 5% of total Facebook users. The finding was made by an editor of the online publication The Daily Best. And the reactions have not been long in coming: everyone is reminded of the same system that Reddit or Imgur uses. In the same way, we want to know if Facebook is really considering implementing this option in more users or is it just a pilot test.
