Facebook continues to improve the way we interact with its affiliate, and although they do not know much about it yet, Instagram has been owned by Facebook for quite some time. The photographic social network has experienced a potential increase in users that is unmatched in the age of technology, so much so that it currently has 800 million unique monthly users, never seen before.
For all these reasons, we understand that Facebook has such an interest in constantly improving its application, thus ensuring that users are more and more comfortable. These new comment management features had been heavily demanded by many users, and they have definitely arrived.
Now in the new comments tab from the internal settings of the application itself we will be able to choose a group of people to whom we will enable or not the possibility of commenting our publications freely, a very interesting security system for those who have their profile open in their eager to attract followers. It will not be necessary to completely block a profile if, for example, we do not want you to share your opinion in our images, one more censorship measure that has been added to an application that has precisely been controversial for similar reasons on more than one occasion.
Instagram has also incorporated an automatic detection tool for offensive or hurtful comments with which to quickly detect who is verbally violating the rules of the social network to help eliminate these types of users from the networks. Thus, more languages arrive, apart from the English that was previously supported in this tool. It will spread little by little, so we cannot ask too much of this automatic censorship system. In the meantime, it is time to continue to make this application that is so popular with middle-aged people.
