Instagram will allow us to limit the number of people with whom to share images

Instagram Stories

When Facebook is not dedicated to copying other applications, in the absence of its own inspiration it is dedicated to copying itself. The photo social network plans to add a new feature inherited from the Facebook social network, a feature that will allow limit posts to a small group of people that we have previously established

Thanks to this new option many of the users who currently have two different accounts When it comes to sharing their images, they will have a problem solved and they will only be able to use one of them, something that has become common in recent years and that could have inflated the number of users of the Instagram social network.

This new option, which would be called Favorites, will allow us to create a group where we would include the people we allow viewing of the image, an ideal option for when we want to share a family or personal image but that we do not do at the moment because the exposure cannot be controlled at this moment. The operation would be very simple, since when publishing Instagram it would give us the option to publish the image for everyone to see or limit its display to the group of people that we have established.

At the moment this new functionality is being tested on a small group of users, users who will be in charge of giving the go-ahead to this function so that it is implemented in all users. Currently the only method to limit the scope of our photographs is by limiting the use of our account, that is to say that it is private, in this way any user who wants to access it will need our approval.

What do you think of this new function? Taking into account that it gives users a lot of freedom to publish any type of photo, it will surely be welcome.
