Intel CEO resigns for having a relationship with an employee

It seems like Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel leave office after it became public that he had a consensual relationship with a company employee. The semiconductor giant was left without the CEO for a few hours, who had been in charge of the company for nothing more and nothing less than 36 years.

It appears that company regulations prevent this type of relationship between employees and after an investigation he has been forced to leave his position. For the time being and while a replacement for the position is being sought, CFO Bob Swan will remain in the position of CEO of one of the world's largest technology companies.

Intel has a regulation that everyone must comply with and Krzanich also

It seems strange that due to a totally normal relationship one is left without the position of CEO of a large company such as Intel, but that is what the internal policies of the firm dictate and it is useful for all employees, regardless of their position. Worst of all is that the relationship was already over, according to some sources close to the case on CNBC, but this has not exempted him from having to leave his post.

In Intel they affirm that if the case had been put on the table in human resources this would never have happened, since although it is true that the policy on relations between employees and especially between executives is strictly prohibited, a notice of the consensual relationship between both it does not imply the violation of the regulations, so there is no problem. In fact, some couples who are married and working at Intel met in the company, but communicated their relationship in the human resources area. Since 1982 he had been working at the Krzanich company, an engineer who gradually rose through the different positions and became CEO in 2013. That is a lifetime.
