LG announces up to 4-inch 150k projector at CES

Although there is still a day to go until the doors of CES, which is being held for another year in Las Vegas, the guys at LG have put the machinery of the previous announcements in motion to capture the attention of the media ahead of time, by just like they did a few days ago when they officially presented the first 88-inch OLED television with 4k resolution.

The Korean company has once again shown products intended for domestic audiences, but this time we are talking about a project with 4k UHD resolution with which we will be able to enjoy a screen of up to 150 inches. This projector, named HU80KA, is HDR10 compliant and has 2.500 lumens.

LG has chosen to use a different format than we are used to, just like Sony did last year, and this projector offers us a rectangle that is located vertically right in front of the area where we want to reflect the image, as we can see in the image that heads this article. The LG HU80KA It has 2 speakers of 7 watts of power, although it also offers us the option of adding a company sound bar or a 7.1 speaker system.

The LG HU80KA is managed by the webOS operating system in version 3.5, so we can make use of different streaming video platforms such as Netflix or HBO, thanks to its Gigabit Ethernet connection. As well offers us HDMI and USB connections to connect our computer directly to the projector, or a USB stick to reproduce the content that is stored inside.

As usual in this type of previous presentations, the Korean firm LG has not revealed the price at which this projector will reach the market, so we will have to wait for the fair to be officially held in order to obtain that information.
