On October 4, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are presented

Last Tuesday the Cupertino boys officially introduced the iPhone X, a terminal where the frames have almost completely disappeared, along with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, the Apple Watch LTE and the Apple TV 4k. At the end of August, Samsung did the same with the Galaxy Note 8. Now it is Google's turn with its Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphones.

The Mountain View-based company has officially announced the date on which it will officially present the second generation of its Pixel terminals, terminals that were launched last year but have passed without pain or glory in the market, due to availability issues.

October 4 has been the date selected by Google, a date very similar to the one used last year to present the first generation, a first generation that has only been officially on sale in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, although unofficially it has reached more countries. Hopefully this second generation reaches more countries, since otherwise I do not quite understand why Google has gotten into this mess of manufacturing and designing its own terminals. Well, that of manufacturing is relative, since this process is again carried out by the Taiwanese HTC, a company that could end up in the hands of Google, as we informed you a few days ago.

According to the few rumors that have been published related to this new generation of Pixel, the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 would reach the market with Android Oreo, logically and would be managed by the Snapdragon 835, nothing of the 836 as it had been rumored in recent weeks. As for RAM, Google had chosen to continue offering 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. The Pixel XL 2 model would expand the size of the screen to reduce the edges and thus adapt to the new needs of users who want a large screen in their hands but with reduced frames.
