Philips launches Hue Sync on Samsung TVs

Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip - Front

Philips is working on offering different synchronization alternatives for its products, especially when we talk about LED strips, usually located in accompanying lighting areas such as behind the television and monitor. In this case, the solution for PC and Mac has existed for a long time through its Hue Sync applications, but now they have decided to go a step further.

The smart lighting firm has announced a Hue Sync application for Samsung TVs that will allow you to synchronize the content of the TV and the lighting. In this way, those who only play content from that device can save the Hue Box accessory.

Philips Hue it has to do with personalization and the new Philips app Hue Sync TV offers various customization features: Users can set the intensity of the sync experience, adjust the brightness of the lights, select video or game mode, enable autostart, and more. Philips users Hue they can have the best home theater experience by creating an entertainment area in the Philips app Hue on their mobile device: they can select the lights they want to sync and then drag and drop them to the correct place and height relative to their TV.

Philips App Hue Sync TV is available to download on newer 2022 Samsung QLED TVs and the Q60 or higher range. The app can be purchased and downloaded to individual TVs from the Samsung TV app store.

Unfortunately, as we have said before, lighting will only sync with specific content playing from the TV, that is, through Tizen OS, so it will not work with external content such as video game consoles or an Apple TV. A jug of cold water if we take into account the few compatible models at the moment.
