Samsung wants to increase its presence in the laptop sector. We know that it is very popular within the smartphone sector and, perhaps, in the television sector, but in the world of computers, it is one more in the game. To begin to stand out, it has just presented two new lines of laptops that are named: Samsung Notebook 3 and Samsung Notebook 5.
To be somewhat more explicit, we have to say that these two lines consist of various sizes. Well, rather, the series Samsung Notebook 3 consists of 14 and 15-inch models, while the series Samsung Notebook 5 will only consist of a 15-inch model. But let's see what both lines offer us.
Samsung Notebook 3 will be made up of two models: a 14-inch and a 15-inch one. In both cases we are dealing with teams that weigh less than 2 kilograms in total. Likewise, both teams have the same characteristics, except that the 14-inch model offers an HD screen resolution and the 15-inch version manages to reach Full HD. While the graphics card of the 14-inch model is integrated, in the 15-inch version they give you the option to bet on a dedicated NVIDIA MX110 model with 2 GB of video memory.
For its part, the range Samsung Notebook 5 will only be available with a 15,6-inch screen size diagonally, Full HD resolution and the possibility of choosing an integrated or dedicated NVIDIA GT150 card with 2 GB of memory.
For the rest, we are facing teams that may have 7th or 8th generation Intel Core processors; a DDR4 RAM; and a system of hybrid storage It will consist of an SSD and a conventional unit (HDD) - capacities are not specified. What we can tell you is that these new laptops will be available in various shades and will arrive this month in South Korea, while their expansion to other markets will arrive in the second half of the year.
