Skype now allows you to use the service without having an account

Since the arrival of Skype at the hands of Microsoft, there have been many new functions that have been added to the platform, many of them would never have crossed our mind, such as the possibility of being able to use Skype simply through the browser, without having to install the application at any time. For all those users who use Skype very sporadically and have no intention of opening an account in those cases, the guys from Redmond have updated the service again allowing users without a registered account to use it.

In order to use this service, we only have to enter a username, which logically does not have to be registered on the platform. You do not need to enter an email address that corresponds to a Microsoft related account. When entering the name of users, we will appear as Guest under our name. This function is ideal for all those users who, as I have mentioned above, use Skype sporadically.

This new option also allows us to create chat rooms in which up to 300 people can participate and allows you to use Skype Translator, in case one or more of the interlocutors do not speak the same language. In addition, Skype will allow us to save the conversations under our user for 24 hours, in case we need to consult them again once the chat has ended. This feature only works through web browsers and is already available in the United States, but according to Microsoft it will shortly be available worldwide.

Now that most messaging platforms are adding video calls, Skype does not want to be left out of this market, and to bring users' attention, it continues to add new functions, such as this one and the one that allows us to use the service without having to install any application on our computer, since it is only available for computers, not mobile devices.
