The truth is that a mobile from the Surface line has been appearing in Microsoft's rumor since the first version of the popular tablet was presented. Windows Phone did not attract attention and that ended up ending the Redmond mobile platform.
However, last week secret patents of a new Microsoft team were known in which a folding terminal could be seen - very much in the style of the ZTE mobile- but perhaps with a somewhat more refined design. The alarms went off and everything pointed to un smartphone with a screen that allows you to work more comfortably.
These patents were collected by a designer. And it did not take long to materialize in a 3D model a concept based on the sketches that Microsoft registered in the relevant American offices. The result? Well an incredible terminal, very attractive to the eye and that, of course, reminds of the Surface range of the company with a metallic chassis (aluminum or magnesium).
We can also see how the terminal could be used in different ways: in the form of a lectern - in «V» - to be able to consume multimedia content or make it work as an alarm clock on a bedside table. It can also be seen with the two screens unfolded, turning into a whole mini Surface tablet - pointer included. Or with both symmetrical parts separated, making the terminal lighter and one part functioning as a full QWERTY keyboard.
It is true that there are many renderings that have wanted to simulate a possible Surface smart phone. Now this one is very different from all of them: everything applied in the 3D model is included in Microsoft patents. Therefore, it is very possible that if this idea is carried out, the end result will be very similar to what the Austrian designer has worked on. David breyer.
