MediaTek 35nm deca-core Helio P10 SoC specifications leaked

MediaTek

In the month of September of this same year, at the same time as the Helio X30MediaTek also announced the Helio P25, an updated version of the Helio P20 with the same 16nm TSMC architecture, albeit with a higher clock speed than the P20.

Now we have in hand details about the Helio P35, which is supposed will compete against the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, one of the rumored SoCs of that important manufacturer from which we have recently known the arrival of its flagship 835 for the first half of 2017.

According to the rumor that we embrace, it will use 10nm TSMC architecture, similar to that of Helio X30 itself, and will be a deca-core or ten-core processor with a similar process. Its clock speed will be reduced for a good number of cores such as 2 Cortext-A73 at a clock speed of 2.22 Ghz, 4 Cortext-A53 at 2.0 GHz and 4 Cortex-A35 cores at 1.2 GHz.

In the part that corresponds to the graphics or GPU, we will have Mali-G71, already seen in the Helio X20. Nor can we forget about 2 LPDDR4 RAM modules, UFS 2.1 storage, Cat.10 modem and Pump Express 3.0 fast charging technology.

MediaTek Helio P35 is rumored to arrive sometime in the third trimester 2017, just after the Helio X30 that will have its special appointment the previous quarter of the same year. This could be officially announced at MWC 2017 in February.

A renewal of a series of SoCs of not as much power as the Snapdragon, but that will be the main part of all those low-end terminals that will be arriving next year. These terminals will be capable of give more power to that software It works better and better, so it will become increasingly difficult not to hold back to opt for a low range.
