Airlander 10 fails second flight and crashes on landing

airlander-10

Just 6 days ago we talked about the Airlander 10 and its first test flight after being a device that was intended to be used in the United States Army but in the end it ended up being sold to HAV, the company that is currently using this great aircraft of 92 meters long and 43,5 meters wide. The truth is that the first flight went quite well as we mentioned that day, but in the second test that this huge aircraft has carried out, it crashed headfirst to the ground at the time of landing. The positive of all this and that it has been published immediately after the accident, there is no need to mourn personal victims.

On the other hand, this Airlander 10 has suffered serious damages that, although it is true, are repairable, the firm did not expect to have them on the second day of flight. The moment of the accident has been recorded on video and here we leave you the moment of the event:

The accident on landing occurred at Bedforshire Airport, UK and despite the fact that it seems to be going slowly, the damage to the cabin has been significant due to the weight and size of the device, as well as falling just above it.

Those responsible for this Airlander 10 requires a space of 100 meters to perform these landing and take-off maneuvers, They are still investigating what happened and looking for the possible failure so that this second flight ended that badly. The truth is that at first it was said that the device hit with a pole of power lines before falling, but this seems to be denied from the company itself.
