Alcatel continues to shine at this year's Mobile World Congress, and this one more than any. It has been proposed to open mouths with a peculiar extravagance that has not left anyone indifferent. Let's be honest and say that it is something that we had thought before on some occasion, coating the phone with LED bulbs could have curious applications. Well Alcatel has brought a not very conservative movement in the middle of 2017, covering a device with LED bulbs and taking an important turn in a market saturated with aluminum bodies and in four basic colors. Let's take a look at this very peculiar device.
This device has a 5,2-inch front panel with HD resolution (720p). However, its basic hardware does not seem the most relevant. We start with its mid / low range processor provided by MediaTek, a MT6753 accompanied by a fairly fair RAM, 2GB of RAM that will allow the basics, no frills. For internal storage we will have 16GB of memory, accompanied by a microSD card reader.
As for the cameras, flash both backwards and forwards, and a sensor 5MP for the front camera and 8MP for the rear cameraAnother aspect that could be improved, basically we are facing a low-cost, low-end device.
But its most relevant aspect is the rear panel made up of LED bulbs, something that could undoubtedly reduce the autonomy of the device considerably. Definitely, nothing too bright beyond the curiosity that can cause us to see this device shine. As long as the bulbs are off, a fairly basic and inconspicuous black will show. They have not given specific information on the price either, although considering the fact that the processor and RAM are quite fair, we do not think it will go too much over the price.
