We continue with the updates and the new versions for the different Google smartphones continue to arrive via OTA. In this case it is the turn of the Google Nexus 6P which seems to be starting to receive the latest available version of the Android operating system via OTA. At first while the rumors of Android O are reaching the network everywhere, we continue to see these types of updates that are welcome but as we always say, they are late. In spite of everything it is good news that users who have this Google device will surely appreciate.
We are facing the launch of the latest available version of Nougat to date and the latest Nexus models cannot be left out of it, so if you have this model soon you should receive an incremental OTA of 25 megabytes to update your device. The update total has a weight slightly higher than 1 GB, specifically 1,3GB, therefore we recommend being in a site with WiFi to update. The expansion of this new version on devices manufactured under the Chinese firm Huawei for Google will be progressive, so it may take a while to appear on your device but do not despair. This Nexus model was released with Android Lollipop, it was updated to 6.0 Marshmallow and later to Nougat.
It is honestly good news to have the option to update our device with the latest version available but it is not so good that these new versions reach almost the end of their own life.This is something that we have always been commenting on but it seems that Android will continue like this for many years.
