Anker MagGo is the best MagSafe charging alternative for your iPhone

charging through systems MagSafe It has become popular on the iPhone thanks to the comforts it offers and, above all, its versatility. How could it be otherwise, Anker, one of the favorite firms of many Apple users in general, has opted to offer interesting alternatives.

In this case we analyze MagGo, a portable battery with MagSafe for your iPhone with an excellent price. This device has made us question whether it is really worth investing more than one hundred euros in Apple's MagSafe battery, and the answer will be quite clear to you, do not miss this analysis.

Materials and design

As usual, Anker has accustomed us to a fairly high quality standard, and it was not going to be less with this product. The battery is made of "soft" plastic and is offered in several colors: Blue, white, black, turquoise and lavender. In this case, we have been testing the two-tone black version.

It is a fairly compact battery, we have measures 1,5*6,65*1,27 centimeters for 142 grams. As usual, the size-to-weight ratio deviates quite a bit due to the lithium batteries inside.

In the back we find a magnetized folding support, well-known from many other iPad products. At the bottom is where we have the charging port, the button to know the status of the autonomy and five LEDs indicating it together with the port USB-C that will help us to fine-tune our MagGo battery.

capacity and usage

The battery has a capacity of 5.000 mAh, which will give us more than a full charge on an iPhone 13 Pro, while it remains approximately 75% of an iPhone 13 Pro Max, the device with the greatest autonomy of the brand. PFor its part, we have a maximum charging power of 7,5W.

The full charge of the Anker MagGo has taken us approximately an hour and a half, and we do not have data on the charge input that it is capable of receiving. Yes, the short cable surprised me USB-C that is included with the product, however, considering that we all have many of these cables at home, it does not pose any problem.

Its support acts as a comfortable stand to be able to enjoy content, and it is that it allows us to put the iPhone both vertically and horizontally, depending on our needs, and that is something to take into account, especially in the Pro Max version of the iPhone.

Editor's Opinion

In comparison, we find a product that costs half the price of the official Apple MagSafe battery, With the difference that it triples its autonomy, let's keep in mind that Apple's MagSafe battery has 1.460 mAh for the 5.000 mAh of this Anker model.

Honestly, we did not find a single reason why someone should buy the battery offered by Apple, to make matters worse, the one from the Cupertino company offers 5W of maximum charging power, for the 7,5W offered by this model of Anker, available on its official website.
