Apple Park in December 2017: new drone-view video

Apple Park in December 2017

It is the last masterpiece of the late Steve Jobs. Exactly, we mean Apple Park, that new complex for the entire mass of Apple employees to work comfortably. The project has been running since 2013. And the company's intentions were to start occupying it and open its doors before the end of this year 2017.

During all the process, drone pilot Matthew Roberts, has been posting on his YouTube channel the evolution of this maxi-construction with the Cupertino firm. And although no more clips were expected, Roberts wanted to say goodbye to the year with a last video in which we can see what the situation is at Apple Park this same month of December.

The drone begins its visit in the air and lets us see what the situation of the new Apple Campus is. Construction machinery is no longer so present around. Likewise, we see how the vast majority of vegetation that will accompany Apple Park is planted — we will see the final image in a few years. Of course, there are still areas to plant and that is where the construction staff is still present.

On the other hand, Matthew Roberts also shows us the cafeteria and terrace that will be open to the publicas well as the pond with water inside the ring or the spaceship. We also see benches where Cupertino employees can spend their breaks relaxing with the views. Finally, the video recorded with the drone shows that a security post has been installed at the access to the Campus via Wolfe Road.

We assume that In the coming weeks the transfer of 12.000 Apple employees will take place, among which is the current CEO (Tim Cook). So it is expected that in the first quarter of 2018 Apple Park will be at full capacity.
