Apple will not be able to replace new terminals for refurbished ones in Denmark

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),

Apple has always been known for being one of the companies that offers the best after-sales service to its customers. Once the 15 days regulated by law have passed, the company based in Cupertino replaces the terminal with a new one (in case that model has been on the market for a short time) or with a reconditioned one, terminals that have not been restored directly in the store and that have had to be taken to the company's technical service. These terminals offer us the same guarantees as a new one, but they have already been used, so the battery, among other aspects, will not have the same duration as a new terminal.

Many are the users who do not quite agree with this way of renewing their devices when they cannot be fixed in store, but it is the only thing we can do in all the Apple Stores in the world, except in Denmark and probably soon also in the United States.

A Danish court has just ruled on a user lawsuit against the Cupertino-based company, denouncing Apple's replacement policy. As I have commented, Apple delivers restored terminals instead of new devices, but according to the Apple court You cannot continue doing this practice in the country because the value between a new terminal and a refurbished one varies widely.

As is logical Apple appeal the decision of the court, but everything seems to indicate that it has very little chance of winning. But the problem it can be much higher if in the trial you have pending in the United States for the same reason, the company is forced to carry out the same practice, that is, to stop offering refurbished terminals and to be forced to replace the defective terminals covered by the warranty with completely new terminals.
