Apple won't benefit from the Galaxy Note 7 problem

Samsung

Yesterday the Cupertino-based company announced the economic results corresponding to the fourth quarter of the year and in which we could see how both the company's revenues and iPhone sales continue to decline, something that both analysts and the company had already predicted. A large part of the blame is on the Chinese market, which is no longer growing as it has done in recent years and which, as we have seen in the data provided by Apple, operations in that country have dropped by 30%. These financial results also served to confirm the iPhone's dependence on the company, since it represents 60% of the income it obtains.

After the presentation was over, Tim Cook answered some questions regarding the company's current and future plans. One of the questions that many users wanted to ask was whether the disappearance of the Galaxy Note 7 market is benefiting them, as some analysts had assured. Tim Cook affirmed that they are not seeing benefit after the disappearance of the Note 7 from the market, since the company can not cope with  meet the high demand for new iPhone models.

Cook was not surprised when he received the question, apparently it was one of those expected given the problem that the disappearance of the Note 7 has caused for many users, since they have been forced to look for alternatives in the market. To be honest, it must be recognized that there are no real alternatives. There is no terminal on the market that offers you the possibility of using an S-Pen with the screen of the device. The closest thing we can find is the 9,7-inch iPad Pro, which is not a smartphone but only a tablet.
