After a lot of rumors and endless leaks, we finally have an official date for the official launch of the PlayStation VR or what is the same, the virtual reality glasses from Sony that will allow us to play in a totally unknown way until now. Next October 13 will be the day they are available in the market to purchase them, and with it will also come an important catalog of compatible games.
Many of these games we could meet at the past E3 2016 held in the city of Los Angeles. In order not to have to review the complete list of games that will be available to play with the new PlayStation VR, we have decided to keep only the best, at least in our opinion, and that is why we have decided to create this article that we have baptized with the title of ; 7 of the best games compatible with PlaySation VR.
At the moment the experience offered by these virtual reality glasses is far from being excellent, or so those who have been able to try them say. And it is that many point out that the gameplay is still very unstable and often cause severe headaches. This is mainly due to the fact that the current PlayStation that is available on the market is not capable of reproducing images at all times at 90 frames per second, staying in most cases at 60 frames per second.
Sony has wanted to take the step of putting its virtual reality glasses on the street without a more powerful or prepared PlayStation, as if it has decided to do Microsoft with its Project Scorpio, which may be a lot of criticism, but also be one of the first to break through in this hopeful market.

Tethered
Strategy games have never had much gameplay on video consoles, perhaps because of how difficult to handle them or how easy it is to play them on a PC thanks to the mouse and keyboard. Tethered is a strategy game that will offer us a series of innovative controls that will make it very easy to use.
This video game has been inspired by the popular Populous and Black and Whitelogra, although introducing a somewhat childish and very colorful aesthetic. In it our objective will be to bring to the world, raise and defend a series of creatures that magically fall from the sky.
The experience with the PlayStation VR seems very complete and collecting resources, caring for creatures and defending them from slug-shaped enemies makes it a lot of fun and exciting thanks to the virtual reality glasses.
In the absence of being able to try and experience it, many already point out that it could be the best game of those available from next October 13, the official date for the launch of the PlayStation VR and of course this game.
Rez Infinite
To all of us who like video game consoles and video games, the title of this game is tremendously familiar to us since a few years ago the first version of it hit the market, which was available for the now totally forgotten Dremcast.
Now we can enjoy a version, which will be named Rez Infinite, and that will be totally different and greatly improved, with the PlayStation VR. Of course, the mechanics of the game will continue to be very different and that is that we will be an avatar that travels down a path, of a strange universe that is full of geometric figures, neon lights and a huge amount of obstacles that we must go around.
The general comment on this game is downright good and almost everyone highlights the good operation of it and the enormous facilities to play.
Farpoint
A few days ago we could see a new accessory or rather we could say a new controller for the PlaySation VR. Similar to a futuristic gun, it will be our best travel companion to enjoy some games like this one Farpoint, a classic shooter, that has evolved to a great extent.
This accessory bears the signature of a well-known studio such as es Impulse gear and Fairpoint is at the moment the only game where we can make use of it. It will not serve among many other things to be liquidating aliens.
At the moment there are no known dates for the launch of the accessory or the game, but from what we have been able to know it could be official at the same time as the PlayStation VR, something that by the way would be quite logical. Many have also already been able to test both, so we could confirm that its launch will not take long.
Resident Evil 7
Resident Evil is already one of the most classic and popular games, which almost any lover of the world of video games has played at some point. A new version, the seventh, is almost ready to hit the market, although we will still have to wait a few months since its launch is scheduled for the end of this year.
The new Resident Evil 7 It will also be compatible with the new PlayStaion VR as we could see at E3 2016. Of course, it should improve very much before making its landing on the market since it has been one of the most criticized by almost everyone.
It is not at the moment one of the best games compatible with the PlayStation VR, but Apparently, in the playable demo for PlaySattion 4, it will undoubtedly be one of the best games of the coming times. and that is why it could not be missing from this list. Hopefully its playability with virtual reality glasses will improve and become a great experience to “get inside” of this Resident Evil 7.
Statik Institute of Retention
It may seem that a puzzle game is very far from being fun and keeping us totally hooked for hours, however this Statik Institute of Retention aim high, not to say very high.
And it is apparently at E3 and in the demo released, that puts the game in the middle of development, we will be facing a great game that will offer us great fun moving, testing and placing pieces to be able to finish puzzles of all kinds.
At the end of the year we will see how this game officially hit the market and it will be then that we will see if the Statik Institute of Retention meets expectations or stays what it is now, an interesting project that could never be what was promised.
Batman Arkham VR
Batman, the character created by DC Comics, could not miss his appointment with the PlayStation VR and very soon we will see the new one available on the market Batman Arkham VR where we can embody one of the best known superheroes on the current scene.
Apparently at E3 2016 and what can be seen in the playable demo of this game, we are without a doubt one of the best games that we can enjoy soon. further its graphic section is absolutely sensational, not only in our opinion, but in that of almost everyone.
This installment of Batman, which will be available very soon, will also allow us to enjoy PlaySation VR, although unfortunately and as confirmed by its developers, it will only last one hour, not everything could be good and beautiful.
Psychonauts: Rhombus of Ruin
Finally and to close this list we wanted to show you an interesting graphic adventure, baptized with the name of Psychonauts: Rhombus of Ruin. In it we will get into Raz, a character with telekinetic powers and many other psychic abilities that we must use to try to rescue Truman Zanotto.
After the success, from start to finish, of Psychonauts 2, the CEO of the creator studio thought it would be a great idea to develop this game to be compatible with the PlaySation VR and said and done. Very soon we will be able to enjoy this game in its entirety thanks to virtual reality, but for now we will have to settle for enjoying it using a DualShock controller.
The PlayStaion VR will be a reality sooner rather than later and with them a large number of compatible games will arrive on the market, which we hope will allow us to make the most of this new Sony device that will give access to a new way of playing loaded with options and functionalities, most interesting and above all fun. Of course we must not forget that virtual reality is a technology still very early and we will see failures in this new device from the Japanese company, as well as in games, but that should not lead us to misunderstandings.
