Better understand everything around you every day thanks to Lens

Lens

Google wants to continue to make things as easy as possible for us and in this tireless search and development of next-generation applications with which to truly dominate our mobiles, it has just presented Lens, an interesting software developed with the sole intention of offering us much more information about everything that surrounds us.

As the North American company has just announced during the celebration of Google I/O 2017, Lens is nothing more than an application designed so that any user only has to point their mobile camera at a certain place or simply turn around it to obtain detailed information especially what is recording it.

Lens, a simple and interesting application that will make our daily tasks much easier.

Apparently, in addition to this the application offer different ways to interact with all that content. To explain this part we have several examples, one may be that using Lens we point our camera at the back of our router, with this simple action the device will recognize the information that is present on the label and will automatically connect to the WiFi. Another example may be that we point our camera lens at a certain monument that we see in the distance and we do not know how to get there, Lens will immediately offer us the pertinent indications.

If you are interested in everything that this type of software can offer, personally it seems to me a way to bring to production everything that supposedly would have been developed for Google Glass, tell you that it will be available through Assistant, the well-known virtual assistant of the company. On the other hand, I personally find an application very similar to what we could already see with the application Bixby developed by Samsung and released by the Galaxy S8 although, it is also true that this version of Google is much more powerful and capable.
