Bixby is the assistant presented by the South Korean company Samsung on March 29 for the new Samsung Galaxy S8. At first, this assistant is exclusive for the company's new models and the exclusivity has not lasted for a long time since in the well-known forum XDA Developers have already managed to port the virtual assistant to other Samsung smartphones. In addition, the assistant works really well in the predecessors of these new S8s, that is, in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge so if one of the reasons why you were clear about the purchase of these new devices was Bixby, you already have another reason for not doing it thanks to the forum members.

Requirements to install Bixby
First of all a device from Samsung itself, this is for the moment something essential in the operation of porting Bixby to our smartphone. The installation process
The installation process seems really simple if we follow these steps that are offered in the developer forum, but basically it consists of:
- Install the Galaxy s8 launcher
- Install the Bixby APK
- Enter the Galaxy s8 launcher settings and press and hold the home screen button
- Activate Bixby and restart
Now when we slide our finger to the left directly Bixby has to appear on our Samsung device.
