The guys from Mountain View have been working hard to bring a great novelty to their book and comic book reading service known for Play Books. The comic books that participate in the new project will have a new functionality with which hook new readers with a service called Bubble Zoom.
This feature called Bubble Zoom will allow the speech bubbles of the comics to be unchecked for take a bigger size to stand out and can be read more easily. Each speech bubble is identified and sequentially emerges by pressing the volume button or pressing on the right side of the screen. Google shows it well in a video.
And we are talking about a very powerful system of learning and image recognition technology with which Google can identify the speech bubbles on the page and thus increase them in size to highlight them. This makes it easier to read the dialogs while the page is full in size. Bubble Zoom also allows there to be a kind of action as the bubbles are animated.
At the moment the comics that offer support for this feature are the collections published by Marvel and DC Comics. To promote the use of Bubble Zoom, Google is offering a 50% offer although it is not available in our country.
