Chrome will allow us to silence the automatic playback of videos

If we use the computer when browsing the internet, it is very likely that throughout the day you will end up with a large number of open tabs, some of which will offer us that happy mania of automatically playing videos, hitting us in most Sometimes a great scare, especially if the volume of our computer is higher than normal, because we have listened to our favorite song, for example. When browsing, we find a very high percentage of chances that in the end we end up on a website that automatically plays a video, either from advertising or from the website itself, but thanks to Chrome, we will be able to shelve this problem.

The next Chrome update will allow us to set which web pages can automatically play sound, and therefore video, in this way, in this way we will avoid, not only that the web page loads in a much faster way, but also that we stop hitting jumps every time a content is played without having previously authorized it , as can be the case with a video on YouTube.

In order to establish which websites are authorized, we must click on the iaddress bar cone and in the menu that appears, click on Sound to select if we want content to be played automatically or if we want to block all content that is designed to be played automatically. But Chrome is not the only browser that offers us this function, since the Safari browser, which is included installed natively in macOS High Sierra, also offers us this option, an option that allows us to configure which web pages can play video and sound automatically and which ones don't.
