Crash Bandicoot N´Sane Trilogy continues to break records in Europe [REVIEW]

On June 30, 2017, a little over a month ago, we found ourselves with the launch of the first three games of one of the sagas, which if not the most important, is undoubtedly the most charismatic of Sony PlayStation. As good video game lovers, we were forced to download this great reissue en masse, which more than a remaster seems like a remake. The public has reacted quite well, and it is that Crash Bandicoot N´Sane Trilogy has become the exclusive PlayStation 4 with the most number of weeks in the position 1 of sales in the United Kingdom.

We are then above all a bestseller, we have no doubt but ... Is the Crash Bandicoot N´Sane Trilogy really worth it? We analyze it in detail.

Graphic section of Crash Bandicoot N´Sane Trilogy

From the first moment it is difficult for us to differentiate if we are really facing a remastering or if it really is a remake, we emphasize the difference, the first is to re-edit a game to improve its textures, the second is to completely redo the game. It is clear that Crash Bandicoot has been totally renewed, the graphic performance is what one would expect, and it leaves nothing to be desired for many other sagas of this type of platform within PlayStation 4. The answer is yes, Crash Bandicoot delivers on graphics performance, especially considering that Naughty Dog released it back in 1996.

Furthermore, these graphic changes are quite progressive, by this we mean that we are going to notice a little more intense graphic detail so that we are advancing in the trilogy, and obviously the differences between the third installment and the first are palpable, without being excessively striking, we are faced with a really well done job in graphic matters and that is worth it, it is much more than a facelift.

It is not a game for all audiences

It is not made for an audience used to the complexity of today's video games… what do I mean by this? Crash Bandicoot has an added difficulty that we are hardly going to find in others today, and we are not referring to complexities at the level of functions and detail, but to the fact that even though we basically move with Direction + Square or X, still, we are going to die many times, repetition and continuous learning are part of this video game.

In addition to the resizing of the character, which apparently has been created in an oval shape, which will cause us to constantly fall if we reach the limit of the curbs, something that for example did not happen in the original edition of Crash Bandicoot, where with supporting a pixel on the next platform would be enough to keep us standing. By this we mean that obviously it seems that this Crash Bandicoot is even more difficult than the original version, if that were not enough. If you lose your temper easily or have never played a game old school, Crash Bandicoot can be a real challenge for you.

Is Crash Bandicoot N´Sane Trilogy worth it?

If you are a lover of the saga or you know Crash Bandicoot from a very young age, it is a game that, taking into account the price that it offers us in the PlayStation Store, cannot be missing in the library. It is a game that will provide us with not only many hours of play, but a truly difficult Platinum to get, at least in the first edition, where the difficulty is constant and will be able to even with the most veteran player.

But it is also recommended for that user who does not know the saga, it will be a first approach with Crash as well as a direct contact with the type of video games with which we grew up as users of the early nineties. It is a highly recommended game, within the limits it has, and that It shouldn't be missing from every gamer's library on PlayStation 4.
