However, there are more and more alternatives - some of them already on the market - are in the motorcycle sector and more importantly, that of trucks. Daimler has commented that this is the work and work of its division «Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation». And that in the short and medium term they want their entire fleet to be completely electric.
But focusing on the Fuso-E Vision One, we can tell you that it is a truck that can hold a load of 11 tons maximum. Likewise, its autonomy is calculated as can reach 350 kilometers with that load up. The battery offered by this Daimler electric truck has a 300 kWh capacity, although figures have not been offered on how long it would take to get a full charge with a fast charging system as it happens in cars. Be careful, because Daimler has been clear: this type of truck is not designed for long-haul use; There is still a lot of work for this type of journey. Now, if they focus on electric delivery trucks, surely cities would win with much greener and cleaner environments.
Meanwhile, rough figures have also been offered on how much money we could save using this type of technology in trucks. Apparently, the E-Fuso Vision One could save 1.000 euros every 10.000 kilometers. At least this is what some companies that have carried out pilot tests in their daily services have been able to verify.
