DJI presents its new drone, the Mavic Air

And it is that we had a few days with news about the possibility that the company presented a new drone with the good of its last two versions of drones, the Mavic Pro and Spark. In this case the Mavic Air, comes with a weight, performance and a truly spectacular camera.

The new drone arrives with force. There are several specifications that will place it high on the table, but to highlight some of its features we will say that the gimball is very similar to the Spark model, with 3 axes and has greater protection to prevent damage in the event of an accident and also the camera is capable of capturing automatic panoramas at 8K resolution ...

The weight of this drone is 430g and adds like the latest models of the firm a compact and really small design, which makes it the DJI drone that has the best specifications for its transport. Actually the Spark model was already one of the best transportable due to the folding option, but this new model is even a little smaller, spectacular.

If we focus on the camera, we see that it mounts a 12 megapixel sensor that is capable of record video in 4K / 30p, 2,5K / 60p and 1080 / 120p. So we are well served to obtain spectacular images from the air. The available colors are red, white and black.

The new drone has a launch price of 849 euros, but as with previous models, the most demanding user can choose a kit with more batteries - specifically 3 batteries - a carrying bag, propeller protectors, an external battery adapter and an extra charging port. for 1.049 euros. The latter is undoubtedly the model that we always recommend for those who really want to have an unbeatable flight experience with other similar drone models.

Reservations started today in the DJI website but really the product will start to sell on January 28.
