[Download APK] Spotify returns to the lower navigation bar on Android

Spotify

Material Design is the design language imposed by Google from Android 5.0 Lollipop. This language that uses a side navigation panel, appropriate animations and a FAB button (in some apps), has served to form another type of interaction with an OS for mobile devices that comes out more and more triumphant with each new update.

Spotify was one of those Android apps that advocated for the side navigation panel to navigate each of the most interesting spaces of it to access playlists, radio or exploration. It is now, from the beta, when the bottom navigation bar to replace that panel that seems to be out of date, although not so much.

The bottom navigation bar allows, from five tabs, access the most important parts of one of the most popular music streaming services of the moment (40 million subscribers). That is why it comes to replace the side navigation panel of yesteryear and has remained for a while in the Android app.

From the navigation bar you can access Home, Explore, Search, Radio and Your Library. This new bar moves the playback bar a little higher and takes us to other different sensations by having all the most important Spotify from the same screen without having to perform gestures.

The only thing this new bar is available in the beta program of Spotify for Android. Those of you who are not participating, you can choose to download the APK that we have below for you to try one of the most striking novelties of this streaming service so far this year.

Being in beta can be subject to last minute changes, although everything seems that that bar is going to stay with us for a while.
