Energy Sistem and Decathlon will accept Bizum as a means of payment

Bizum is the means of payment that Spanish banks created to deal with the new contactless payment companies such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, although it has many other advantages such as the ability to send money to our contacts quickly and usually without added costs (although some banks are beginning to apply fees). Now Decathlon and Energy Sistem join the collections with Bizum to streamline payments and make it easier for consumers. Good news for Bizum users in general, and of course also for businesses that take advantage of these capabilities.

This new payment method through Bizum seeks facilitate the purchase process of Energy Sistem users. To carry out the transaction, a four-digit password needs to be generated in the user's banking application and, once with it, the operation is carried out through the Energy Sistem purchasing system. Payment formality meets the highest security standards for online purchases

Bizum does not require registration and is directly integrated into our payment methods, which simplifies the payment process. In addition, it has the same security as traditional transfer payments - Noemi Climent, International Communication Manager of Energy Sistem

In the case of Decathlon the bet is just as interesting, although they are added to others already present such as Alsa, Yelmo Cines and Iberdrola, which are also integrating this payment mechanism on their platforms. However, for now this type of payment through Bizum is only intended for online purchases, the company does not plan to embark on face-to-face payments through Bizum until this system has first been consolidated. It should be noted that in countries such as China a similar platform integrated with WeChat services works very well and that it looks like the future.
