The guys from Facebook are leaving in recent months, adding new functions every time, functions that are mostly copies of others that are available on other platforms such as Snapchat or Twitter, the main sources of inspiration. Video has become a priority for most platforms, platforms that are seeing how this type of multimedia format has become the main means of fun, entertainment and learning for many users. To try to offer a wider range of content, the Facebook platform has just added the possibility of broadcasting live video from our computer.
As on previous occasions, Facebook has relied on Twitter to launch this service, with which the platform wants to become a means of broadcasting games or live broadcasts of news without going any further. This new function, called Live Video, gives us the option to select the source of the video, Either the webcam, one of the screens of our computer (ideal option to broadcast games) or from a professional computer with which images are mixed (designed for live broadcasts of programs).
This type of new retransmissions can also be carried out in groups of which we are part, to orient the content to a specific niche of people who may be interested in it. Although this option is not available to all users at the moment, it is gradually being activated and is available when we want to create a new publication. The option Live video will appear just below the four options that usually appeared to us: Photo / video, I feel / Activity, Tag friends and I'm here.
