Facebook already offers the exclusive GIF button for comments to everyone

Facebook has been characterized in recent years for being a photocopier of everything that you like and are interested in. But when something does not interest him, he skips the subject. A clear example of what I am talking about is found in the use of files in GIF format, a format that has become one of the most used methods to express feelings of all kinds, leaving aside the sad emojis that are beginning to be relegated by the wide, if not infinite variety of GIFs. But it seems that this pasotism towards GIFs is finally over by Facebook.

Three months after starting to carry out the first tests and to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of this format, Facebook offers the possibility to all users of its platform the dedicated button for GIFs, orn button that is only available in comments, not when publishing on our wall. Since Facebook implemented support for this type of files, two years ago, the only way to add a GIF to our publications was by doing it through a link, a task that made most users lose the desire to use it since it took away spontaneity.

This new button is currently starting to be available in more countries, since it is an internal update of the application and within a few hours it should be available worldwide. The possibility of adding GIFs in the comments with a direct button is the beginning of an option that will probably come sooner rather than later to the publications we make on our wall, since user demand for these types of files shows no signs of dejection.
