Facebook Messenger releases filters for your camera

Facebook Messenger

As you well know, Facebook decided, given the refusal by the leaders of Snapchat to be bought by the gigantic social network, to bring practically all the most interesting news of this to its entire company. In this way and with the passage of time we have been able to see how platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger have been updated practically every month.

On this occasion, those responsible for the development of the latter have just announced that Facebook Messenger finally it will have its own frames, augmented reality filters, 3D masks and especially hundreds of new stickers. According to Facebook, thanks to these developments, it has been possible to classify the platform as the messaging service 'more visual'.

Facebook Messenger is updated for Christmas.

On the other hand we have to talk about artificial intelligence system used to make this new update a reality since, according to its managers, it appears to be able to recognize the text that the user has written next to their photograph or video to suggest the use of filters and frames more appropriate to what they are trying to express.

Another novelty that comes to Facebook Messenger are the so-called artistic transfers which is nothing more than a functionality very similar to what the Prisma application offers and with which it is possible to make our photos appear much more artistic.

If you want to access these new options, all you have to do is click on the camera button to record a video or take a photograph, just at that moment the filters and frames that are already enabled will appear. As a final detail, just tell you that, although this new update is already available, for now will begin to reach users in a phased manner.
