The fantastic braille wristwatch for the visually impaired

The visually impaired have a problem with the time, it is inevitable to ask ourselves this question. It is true that with smart watches this problem can be slightly covered, since for example the Apple Watch is able to tell us the time when we press on the dial. However, they also have the full right to enjoy digital and analog options for such everyday activities. No sooner said than done, We present to you the clock that tells you the time in braille and that could have found an extremely interesting market niche Thanks to this innovative idea, we are going to meet him.

This watch is called Dos and it is neither digital nor analog, it is designed for the visually impaired and it will give you the time in braille. Curiously, and despite the fact that the design is undoubtedly going to be the least of it, it is extremely beautiful. The time will be represented in Braille through a series of protrusions that will appear on the screen at the correct moment, in this way, the visually impaired will be able to know the exact time just by touching the face of their watch, a fantastic idea that from here I can only limit myself to applauding her.

The mechanism promises to be resistant, and is developed by a South Korean company that intends to send the first 140.000 units that they managed to sell during crowfunding during the month of March. From now on, the retail price will be around 320 euros, a little less than what an average smartwatch on the market would cost, but nothing crazy if we take into account the price of most watches on the market. Thus, these watches show a new alternative for the visually impaired who will have one more option on the market.
